QuantumNET began operations in 1998 as The Gambia's first Internet Service Provider when the United Nations Development Project
was looking for a private partner for their Internet Gateway Initiative. In response to our customers growing IT needs, QuantumNET
has expanded its operations to include IT related education training, a wide variety of IT related solutions, IT and Electronic sales,
Cyber Cafes and Motor sales.
QuantumNET is known throughtout the West African sub region (we have an office in Freetown) for quality products and excellent
after sales/customer service which is why each year our client base continues to grow.
As part of QuantumNET's social responsibility, we offer free Internet access to all Senior Secondary schools in The Gambia which is
inline with our mission to help bring the Internet to everyone in the country. We also give young Gambians the opportunity to learn
real world managerial skills by employing them for limited periods in our Cyber Cafes.
QuantumNET firmly believes that quality service can only be achieved if delivered effectively by qualified personnel. This is why
the Managing Director, Muhammed Jah has assembled a young, dynamic and talented team that believes in the core values of the
company; Discipline, Honesty and Hard Work.
The company's staff base is nearly 300 young Gambians and our management team overseas the various departments of
QuantumNET including; Admin/HR, Finance, Technical, QuantumNET Digital Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, GSM Sales,
Espace Motors Sales, Sales Finance, Training and Internal Audit.
All of QuantumNET’s managers are Gambians that have garnered essential corporate experience overseas and have returned to
put their skills to work for the development of their country. QuantumNET’s management team has grown steadily over the years
as the needs of the company’s business have required.
